Achieving Mindfulness through Self-Hypnosis

There are many definitions of and to Mindfulness. I like “A mental state achieved by focusing one's awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations, used as a therapeutic technique.”

Meditation, self-hypnosis and deep prayers are three of the more common ways to quiet your mind and trigger your body’s relaxation response. I have been practicing and teaching self-hypnosis for over 40 years.

All hypnosis is self-hypnosis. No one can hypnotize you to do anything against your will or morals. Stage hypnotism is for the purpose of entertainment. I teach many of my clients self-hypnosis as a tool for anxiety relief, aid in going to sleep, and for general mental health. I would be happy to introduce you to your personal safe place.
